Ahhhh...one more day and its...Christmas. Not sure what happened to this one...very spiritual day. The focus isn't on the "original" reason for this holiday. Now..its all about shopping for deals and giving gifts and....eating good.
The story of the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ as described in the Book of Matthew in the King James Version of the Holy Bible.... is almost forgotten by most who celebrate....the Holidays.
The Three Wise Men? gone. erased from the minds of the masses.
The Star the shined bright in the sky to herald the birth of the baby Jesus. Well...have you heard anything about it?
Not many have...and not many children are being raised...with this bit of..knowledge.
But...Santa is alive and kickin. Even though Rudolph kinda got kicked to the curb...the ole Fat Man...is still the Icon for Christmas...or..shall I say...Xmas.
Soooo...here we are again..the eve of the eve of xmas. Folks runnin around in a frenzy trying to get that last minute gift...or get the ingredients for the dinner they will fix and invite the people they really don't like and pretend that all is good.
Cause...
Its XMAS.
or..something like it.
So so true, society has completely strayed from the true meaning of Christmas. Good word E!!
